The movie is based on the idea created by Dan O'Bannon & Ronald Shusett and it tells a story of a commercial spacecraft’s crew of seven who encounter a deadly lifeform after investigating a mysterious transmission of unknown origin. The Xenomorph is a fictional endoparasitoid extraterrestrial species designed by Swiss artist H. R. Giger. In Poland the film was released under the title: Alien: 8th Passenger of Nostromo.
